Agricultural Conservation Protecting Water: Keeping Soil & Nutrients in the Field
Partners in Hardin County, Ohio will host an agricultural field day on August 26, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The field day, titled Agricultural Conservation Protecting Water: Keeping Soil & Nutrients in the Field, will feature edge of field monitoring, nitrogen timing plots, nutrient placement plots, phosphorous removal beds, blind inlets, soil health, equipment demos and more. Continuing Education Credits will be available for Certified Crop Advisers.
The free event will be held at the northwest corner of Township Road 50 and State Route 68 in Dunkirk, Ohio 45836. Lunch will be provided. Registrations should be made to the Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District at 419-673-0456 by August 17, 2016.
