4R Advocate Nominations Due October 31

The deadline for nominating a 4R Advocate is rapidly approaching. All materials are due to The Fertilizer Institute by Tuesday, October 31. Applying is easy using the new online form; so get your applications in!

One of the top things we hear from farmers is that they like to learn about new practices from their peers. That makes the Advocate program is a key strategy in our effort to increase adoption of the 4Rs by farmers and retailers across the country.

The 4R Advocate program recognizes agricultural retailers and their grower customers who are leading the way when it comes to implementing 4R Nutrient Stewardship on the farm. The selected group of 2018 4R Advocates will assist The Fertilizer Institute in raising awareness and adoption of 4R Nutrient Stewardship.

We will make our first big splash with the Advocates at the Commodity Classic in February, which gives us an excellent opportunity to reach thousands of farmers with practical examples of how they can use the 4Rs in their fertilizer management strategy. Stay tuned to the big reveal of this year’s winners in December!
