Nutrient Stewardship Council Seeking Independent Contractor to Review Audit Reports

The Nutrient Stewardship Council seeks to contract with a consultant as a 4R Nutrient Stewardship Certification Program Certification Reviewer.

The 4R Nutrient Stewardship Certification Program was officially launched in March 2014, and includes specifications for best practices for nutrient management for nutrient service providers in and around the Lake Erie Watershed, with the goal of long-term improvement of Lake Erie’s water quality. In January 2017, the program was expanded to the full state of Ohio. Certification is earned by voluntary participation through third-party, annual audits.  Reports are reviewed for compliance and consistency based on the auditable criteria developed for this certification program.
