Ag Retailers Discover 4Rs, Tour Stone Lab at Land to Lake Field Day on Lake Erie
Agricultural retailers and Certified Crop Advisers from the Western Lake Erie Basin attended the Land to Lake Field Day, held August 21-22 on South Bass Island. The event provided participants the opportunity to learn more about the 4R Nutrient Stewardship Certification Program and hear the latest research happening on Lake Erie.
The event included a tour of The Ohio State University’s Stone Lab on Gibraltar Island and the Aquatic Visitors Center, as well as a variety of industry and research presentations including:

The Land to Lake Field Day was hosted by the Tri-State Watershed Alliance. The event was sponsored by the WLEB/Ohio 4R Nutrient Stewardship Council, Indiana Corn Marketing Council, Indiana Soybean Alliance, The Nature Conservancy and the Ohio AgriBusiness Association.
