Ohio State University Extension Nutrient Management Plan Development Program Servicing Farmers in the Western Lake Erie Basin
Funded by a grant through the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Ohio State University Extension assembled a team of Nutrient Management Plan Writers to assist farmers in developing nutrient management plans in the Western Lake Basin of Ohio.
Nutrient management plans provide general guidelines on 4R Nutrient Stewardship practices for farming operations resulting in the Right Source of nutrients at the Right Rate and Right Time in the Right Place to maximize efficiency in fertilizer use.
