Ontario Agri-Retailers Continue to Demonstrate Commitment to 4R Nutrient Stewardship

An additional five sites become 4R Certified, including: AGIRS Co-op Bridgen, FS Partners Mitchell, FS Partners Elmvale, Southwest Agromart Elberts & Southwest Agromart Ridgetown.

Since 2018, the 4R Certification program has worked with over 2,400 farmers, and 4R practices have been implemented on approximately 950,000 certified acres, which accounts for 11% of Ontario’s total cropland. Twenty-nine agri-retail facilities are 4R Certified, which means they have aligned their business practices with the sustainability principles of 4R Nutrient Stewardship, as verified by 36 auditable standards.
